it never fails
it makes me want to wag my tail
when it comes I want to wail
mmmaaaaiiiillllll! (song from Blue’s Clues)
For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with mail. I LOVE mail! I love to get mail and I love sending mail. I should have been a postal worker haha. Invitations to my bridal shower as well as to our wedding went out yesterday! I am so excited to start getting RSVPs in the mail! I also can’t wait to share all the projects I have been working on for the wedding. I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise by posting before the wedding so stay tuned!
2 months 27 days and 4hrs until I become Mrs. Christopher Hall! (Thanks to my iPhone Wedding Countdown hehe)
August 18th 2012 will be the day I marry the love of my life! It will also be my Grandparent’s 62nd wedding anniversary. I hope by picking this same date for our wedding that our marriage will be just as strong as theirs.
Getting back into wedding planning has been good for me. It is still difficult to think about our wedding day some times though. I had this picture in my mind of our first dance…on our wedding day…and in one moment having everything I have ever wanted. A husband and two beautiful baby girls. And now I cannot have that moment I have been dreaming of. It will still a great moment yes…but it will be different. As everything else in my life is now different and will be indefinitely.
We ordered our save the date magnets from http://www.savethedatemagnet.com/ I used a blue calligraphy pen to address each envelope and only mailed out the ones I wouldn’t see over the holiday to save on postage.
I find it difficult to smile some days but these are a few of the things that DO make me smile 🙂
Taking walks with pooch and Chris at the Saratoga Battlefield…
Planning our annual Kid’s Halloween Party…
Spending afternoons with my nephew Johnathan and capturing moments like these…
Painting pumpkins with Chris for the girls…
Thank you to all our friends and family for the surprise housewarming party!! I wanted to save all the cards we received so I made some wall decor for the kitchen.
Thank you cards to be mailed out tomorrow!
Thank you to everyone for helping Chris and I move! We are finally homeowners!
Happy Birthday Carla! I was looking around my craft room for something to make Carla for her birthday and I found these mini canvases in the bottom of a shoe box. I painted and stitched a cute family saying on them. Jazzed it up with some beads, ribbon and scrapbook paper and placed it into a shadow box frame. Hope she likes it!
I found this super cute baby scrapbook paper at AcMoore that inspired me to change my card design. They came out better than I expected.
I love starting new projects. It’s finishing them that’s the tough part! Working on Kat’s baby shower invitations. She’s having a girl and the theme is cupcakes. So cute 🙂 Still hasn’t sunk in that she’s married and having a baby.
I’ve got the greatest form of birth control…a new puppy!
