August 18th 2012 will be the day I marry the love of my life! It will also be my Grandparent’s 62nd wedding anniversary. I hope by picking this same date for our wedding that our marriage will be just as strong as theirs.
Getting back into wedding planning has been good for me. It is still difficult to think about our wedding day some times though. I had this picture in my mind of our first dance…on our wedding day…and in one moment having everything I have ever wanted. A husband and two beautiful baby girls. And now I cannot have that moment I have been dreaming of. It will still a great moment yes…but it will be different. As everything else in my life is now different and will be indefinitely.
We ordered our save the date magnets from http://www.savethedatemagnet.com/ I used a blue calligraphy pen to address each envelope and only mailed out the ones I wouldn’t see over the holiday to save on postage.
